Polyethylene terephthalate is a strong, stiff synthetic fibre that hails from the family of polymers made with ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid. The fact that PET is up to 100% recyclable which makes it ideal for sustainable packaging.
The material was utilised for this package due to its ability to provide a cost effective, premium and environmentally friendly alternative to glass packaging.
